In my continued quest of melding visual and audible ideas, this track from Experimetal is a new frontier in technique. Playing the custom Stratocaster, ‘Friga’, I used a paint brush to play the guitar with which enabled me to play similar sound as if using a violin bow. The bristles on this brush are fairly stiff; it is a brush I use for acrylic painting primarily and now for a bit of guitar as well.
